Great Second Life Destinations: Return to Netherwood, The English Lake District in High Summer

The beautiful and rugged English Lake District, home to such legendary authors including William Wordsworth, Beatrix Potter, and John Ruskin, is world renowned for its mountainous scenery. Lauren Bentham, who is one of Second Life's best known content creators and environmental designers, with Bentham Manor, Everwinter, Baja Norte and the other Baja Destinations to her credit, has created Netherwood, a homage to this exalted part of the British Isles. Calm lake water, rugged peaks, and  verdant fields and pastures with great period architecture make Netherwood an instant Second Life classic and one that everyone should visit.

All photography was taken with the Windlight Sky Setting programmed at the region.
