Great Second Life Destinations: The Planets by Caledonia Skytower on LEA 4 - Neptune, The Mystic

Caledonia Skytower has a wonderful art installation on LEA 4 inspired by english composer Gustav Holst's evocative suite of musical tone poems, The Planets.  You are given links to the music for each planet when you arrive and can fine the suite of music here on You Tube..

Ryce visited Neptune, The Mystic, which is an undersea world -- much as the blue green planet appeared to astronomers who first imagined the far off gaseous world when this music between 1914 and 1916.  Visitors can interact with bubbles that float through the water and shells for single and couple poses.

Neptune is just one of the 7 "planets" that will be open. Mercury, Venus, Uranus and Saturn are now open.  Mars and Jupiter, which are the most recognizable music from the Suite, are under construction at the time I write this blog post. Poetry of the Planets will run through the end of May 2017.  Visitors are welcome to leave poetic impressions of their visit.

Your taxi to the main exhibition area on LEA 4-  The teleport area to each "planet" exhibition is a short walk away from the landing area. Just follow the sign when you arrive.
