Mac Kanashimi's incredible environmental sculpture Snarl! formally opens tomorrow, Sunday July 10 at 1:00 PM SLT. Snarl! is a collection of rainbow hued tubes that climb to over 4000 meters or about 2 1/2 miles high. To give you an idea of how big Snarl! is, take a look at the image below. The tiny black mark is my avatar.
The teleport to Snarl! actually takes you to an arrival inside one of the "tubes" 4,063 meters high. It is best to wear a flight feather -- or simply fall and marvel at the changing spaghetti-like shapes around you. You can pick up a free flight feather here on Second Life Marketplace -- just wear it before you arrive and you can easily fly or stay stable at any height.
This is a highly recommended art installation and one that everyone in Second Life who appreciates virtual art should visit.
All photographs were taken with Windlight Sky Setting "TOR" Dusk Fairytale Glow which comes standard in Firestorm and other viewers.
