Nusquam means nowhere in Latin. At first glance, Nusquam appears to be an isolated and forgotten northern island - perhaps somewhere in the Canadian Maritime Provinces. The setting is late summer, cool arctic air has already arrived portending the blizzards to come. But then you look closer -- and explore the intriguing train tunnel which has long since been abandoned and contains a comfortable neon lit bar. The trains themselves have been upended in some explosion a while ago - were they transporting dangerous gas? There are signs of life here -- but mostly, you are and nowhere -- and hear the haunting waves of the sea laugh as they remind you of this fact.
