Great Second Life Holiday Destinations: The Invasion! Ride, Christmas Edition, Is Delightfully Bizarre

Back in November, I reviewed  Traskin Snakeankle's Invasion! and urged everyone to this very well done ride before it closed.  There is good news -- Invasion! has now been extended and will stay open through Christmas 2015 - with a fun new twist. Instead of riding a go cart, visitors can now ride a reindeer and participate in an invasion of the world by huge insect-like aliens! Hold on  tight as you watch your reindeer dodge flying saucer rays and giant frightening insects who will try to make a meal out of the both of you.  Invasion! is a morph of two classic entertainment memes, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and War of the Worlds  - with the added bonus of watching Santa bargain with some excited aliens at the end.

Board a reindeer to begin the ride

This is the coolest ride for the 2015 Second Life holiday season, and a must-visit for everyone.

Set your view to Midnight (or a similar dark view), and set your sounds at maximum and your music off to get the most out of your visit.
