Great Second Life Destinations:The Blasted Heath, West of Arkham at LEA 16 by MiaSnow Myriam

MiaSnow Myriam's striking art installation The Blasted Heath, West of Arkham is currently on display at LEA (Linden Endowment for the Arts)  16 and is definitely worth a visit. The installation is inspired by one of  horror author H.P. Lovecraft’s best known short works,  The Colour Out of Space, written in 1927. The story describes the "blasted heath" in the hills west of Arkham, Massachusetts, which resulted from a meteorite crash near Gardner's well. The meteorite drained the life force from any animal living nearby, made vegetation grow into gigantic and bizarre shapes, and drove the town population insane. The art installation, however, is particularly beautiful and highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great Second Life art and set design.
