Great Second Life Destinations: Neva Crystall's Saint Pete City

Neva Crystall is one of my favorite builders and interior designers in virtual reality. Her attention to detail and realism are unsurpassed.  Neva's latest build, Saint. Pete City, is as pleasant and attractive a destination as should be expected.  Saint Pete reminds me of a historic New England coast town - Portsmouth New Hampshire comes to mind -- that has preserved its period architecture and now finds itself highly fashionable. I was enchanted by brick-lined streetscapes and gorgeously furnished  interiors. I particularly liked the industrial themed bar which I show here as the last photograph, and nearby bookstore which I show in the sixth photograph down.

Although this may not be much of a coincidence, I actually visited one of the two famous real world Saint Pete City (St. Petersburg Florida - not the one in Russia) two weeks ago on a week long road trip, one reason being to tour its Salvador Dali Museum.  The Florida and Second Life versions could not be more different!

I used Windlight sky setting [TOR] MIDDAY - Nostalgika in these images, which I favor for its warm golden light and clear skies. I particularly like using this this setting for early autumnal photography. Nostalgika comes as an option in the Firestorm Viewer.
