Message from Trinity Yazimoto: The Trace Too Art Auction Raised $L 26,875 For Relay for Life

Trace Too -- Photography by Eddi Haskell

A Special Message From Tinity Yazimoto, Chair of the Trace Too Art Auction:

To everyone who has made the Art Auction at the Trace Too for Relay For Life such a huge success, and especially to our friend Kylie Jaxxon:

The Trace Too Art auction, originally made in honor of our missing friend Kylie Jaxxon, ended up  as a great success -- with a result that has brought smiles to all our faces!

First of all, I can speak for all of Kylie Jaxxon's friends by saying that sometimes the best information is the wrong information. We had originally thought the worst and thought that Kylie would never return to Second Life -- and were both surprised and delighted when Kylie returned!

The art auction that we had started in Kylie's memory continued at the Trace Too after Kylie's unexpected return.  We then, with Kylie's support, decided to send all auction proceeds going to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

All the works donated by the generous photographers and digital artists have now found their way to their buyers. Our  tally of donations as of today, including some additional buyer contributions,  is $26,875 Linden

All funds will be added to donations from the tip jar at the Trace Too and the event at the Commune and Lagrange Spaceport,  The final tally and  will be sent to Relay for Life in Second Life at the end of August  on behalf of Kylie Jaxxon and everyone who has donated their art, time, or Lindens.

Our best reward though is to see Kylie back, and to know she already have plans for an autumn landscape at the Trace Too.

Thank you to everyone who helped to make this possible!

Best Regards,
