Second Life Masterminds: Photographic Session with Kaya Angel, Builder and Owner of Angel Manor and the Rose Theater

Kaya and Ben Angel at Angel Manor

Kaya Angel, the founder and architect of the 9-sim Angel Manor and Rose Theater complex agreed to pose for some photographs at Angel Manor.  Kaya, whom I am fortunate enough to have had as a Second Life friend for over six years, is unquestionably one of the greatest architect  builders and arts impresarios in Second Life-- perhaps the greatest.  His builds are incomparably grand and breathtakingly beautiful and unlike anything else on the grid.

The interiors of Angel Manor are simply some of the most gorgeous and impressive ever built in virtual reality, and Kaya should be justly proud of his achievements.  You might never know all this about Kaya if you meet him in person, since he is so friendly and approachable, and very modest considering  all he has done.  I probably am embarrassing him by writing this here.

Kaya sells some gorgeous prefabricated mansions and other structures, and attractive home furnishings which you can see throughout Angel Manor and in a retail area on the lower level of the complex. I find his offerings to be very well priced and have purchased many for my own use.

Note: Kaya's handsome dog Ben also posed in the top two photographs of the exterior of Angel Manor.

Here are my most recent reviews and blog posts from Angel Manor:

Fall Foliage at Angel Manor:  October 2014

Angel Manor Gardens: July 2014

You can catch  my review of the Lefevre Mansion and Grounds which Kaya designed and which opened in March 2014 here:

All photography in this post uses Windlight Sky Setting Bree's Appleblossom, which I prefer for its bright and clear blue light and lack of heavy shadows.  This setting comes preinstalled in Firestorm and other viewers.

I made an oil painting portrait based on the above photograph of Kaya using free Fotosketcher software.
