Happy Bastille Day! Celebrating the National Holiday of France

Bastille Day, the National Day of France, celebrates the storming of the Bastille, and the beginning of the French Revolution, in 1789.  This year is the 226th anniversary of the event.

Ryce is celebrating at Spurt Beach with his Mesh France Tricolor Shorts which you can purchase on SL Marketplace for $100 Linden.

Other low rides shorts with flags of other nations (UK, Canada, Brazil, Sweden, Norway, and others) are available at the Faboo Store on the Second Life Marketplace:

You can visit the Faboo Store in Second Life here.  They have some very nice free swimwear for the men and ladies if you join their group:

In honor of the Bastille day, I am playing Mireille Mathieu's legendary performance of La Marseillaise, the national anthem of France, from the 1989 bicentennial. The Eiffel Tower is in the background. I rank this as the greatest recording of any national anthem ever done. Vive La France Everyone!
