The Art Deco Dreamitarium and Exhibition Hall |
SL12B is the best event yet of its kind and well worth visiting. The exhibits and staging areas set over 15 regions make for a very impressive demonstration of all that has been achieved over 12 years through user-generated content. This is my ninth consecutive Second Life Birthday, and unlike prior years which were a crowded hodge-podge, the entire event is more than the sum of individual parts. I show some highlights here, but only scratch the surface of all the great exhibits and builds.

The SL12B Arrival Area |
SL12B will be open for the rest of this week. I had some problems with lag and crashes when I visited, but I take a large number of huge photographs, up to 500k in file size, which will tax even the best of graphic cards (I use an NVIDIA 760GTX). Those of you who are not taking tons of photographs should do just fine.
