Hezekiah Jouvenet's well designed The Endless Season is now open for respectful visiting. My first impression when I arrived is how large this region looked. The interrogation with holographic mountain scenery, which looks like an afterthought in many regions, is flawless.
You can imagine yourself reinvigorated breathing in the fresh mountain air in a Rocky Mountain location - perhaps Banff in Alberta, Canada or Sun Valley Idaho in the United States. The landscape appears to be late Spring here, flower blooms are out and the runoff of melting snow has filled the reservoirs and lakes of the landscape. The setting here is very realistic because of thoughtful and non-repetitive design.
There are many beautiful single-sim homestead regions in Second Life, a format which has dominated much new development. The Endless Season stands out because of its charm, realism and sense of freshness. I particularly liked the design of curved and planted esplanade which you can see above. I highly recommend a visit -- please keep in mind no adult conduct is allowed here. .
I used Windlight sky setting [TOR] MIDDAY - Nostalgika in these images which I favor for its warm golden light. Nostalgika comes as an option in the Firestorm Viewer.
