Urban environments that are based on traditional prim construction must have rich detailed textures for realism. However, something else needs to be added to have these urban street scenes stand out. Purple Crayons, homestead region that is the location of several galleries and a jewelry store is unique in its tiered step of hills which provide visual realism as seen the photo below. This is a very well laid out urban destination because of the surprise of discovering hidden streets and attractions as
the visitor walks up hills and looks behind alleyways.
Several of the interiors are realistic and well done, but not so crowded and neat as to look staged. This destination is still under development, with more surprises to come -- but I recommend a visit now if you like good Second Life urban retail and residential design.
