Great Second Life Destinations: Regi Yifu's Eiffel Tower on LEA 7 is Spectacular
Regi Yifu has constructed a spectacular 160 meter high replica of the Eiffel Tower on LEA 7. Regi, who is an excellent builder and artist, designed the tower with great realism and style. The tower is nestled inside a 300 meter tall snow globe; snowfall and lights are a major part of the build- a hot-air balloon offers visitors views of the tower and provides good photographic opportunities.
Here is your taxi A photography contest will be announced in early 2016. This is a highly recommended destination and well worth a visit.

Great Second Life Destinations: Maison de L'amitié Is Spectacular
Maison de L'amitié, or House of Friendship offers a dramatically rich landscape. Dark grey and purple skies with sheets of Aurora Borealis yield to an occasional meteor shower. Gently falling white snow realistically drifts on the land to good effect. Just the right number of softly lit pines with strings of white lights work so well here. The monochromatic approach to landscape design and decorating makes this standard parcel seem far bigger far bigger than it actually is. This is a spectacular winter landscape, and a highlight of 2015.
All photography was taken with the recommended light setting already programmed at the parcel.
Make sure to check out the gorgeous interiors of the structures on the parcel during your tour -- they are stunning and well done.

Great Second Life Destinations: The Magic of Winter at White Impurity
Yamabushi23's White Impurity packs a tremendous amount of great art, style, and taste on a small 2304 meters parcel. I recognized several sculptures by well known Second Life artists Mistero Hifeng, together with other recognizable virtual memes such as the grouping of the three glass bottles below. The effect of all this art on icebergs surrounded by bare rock face mountains, all with chilly blue water and fresh blowing snow serving as a unifying background, is simply gorgeous. Make sure to use the recommended Windlight Sky Setting of Predawnmoon, which is already programmed on the parcel for best effect. To visit this highly recommended destination:

Great Second Life Destinations: A Loch Noble Winter
Loch Noble sets a new standard for realistic real-world destinations in Second Life. It is simply stunning and spectacular, and a joy to walk though and photograph. The landscape is scenic Scotland in late summer -- with spacious skies and the wonderful clarity of light that artists the world over in many genres have commented upon through the ages. A pastoral landscape - facing spacious lochs bordered by glens and patches of woodland -- makes this destination appear to be bigger than just sim. The attention to proportioned scale -- and texture and detail -- are unmatched.
I highly recommend you visit this gorgeous destination. Please note a small portion of Loch Ness is a private residence and not open to the public.

Great Second Life Winter Destinations: The Trace Winter 2015 Edition
The fresh snows and holiday lights of early Winter are a very short season in Second Life -- with Spring coming early to most destinations in mid-January. Although there is no snow in South Florida, and very little in the way of below 77 degree (25 celsius) temperature at any time, I can celebrate my love of winter snows at classic Second Life destinations, including Kylie Jaxxon's Trace Too. Kylie has a deft touch with landscaping and village placement that is entirely natural and not exaggerated -- you get a sense of being at an actual real world location here that is missing from many other Second Life destinations. Also make sure to visit the interior of the stores in the shopping village and other structures for excellent interior detailing.

Great Second Life Destinations: Winter Holiday Figure Skating at Aero Pines Park
There is no sport as graceful and as beautiful to watch as figure skating. And, because of the wonder of virtual world technology, any real-word klutz can look like an Olympic gold medal winner in Second life. Ryce Skytower demonstrates his skating prowess in these photographs taken at the Aero Pines Park 9th Annual Winter Festival today. There are other winter sports and activities to partake in at this beautifully lit sim, and mood-enhancing Christmas season music playing at all times here. I highly recommend you make a tip to this classic winter holiday destination.
