Great Second Life Destinations: Lisipark in Winter

I reviewed Lisipark, a realistic and beautifully situated Homestead sim that reminded me of Southern California, here in November. At the time, I said that Lisipark reminded me of a town in Southern California -- and I can pinpoint the location for you now-- Big Bear Lake in the San Bernardino Mountains, not far from Los Angeles. I am not sure if designer  TracyLynne Carpenter had this in mind when she destined the sim, but an occasional hearty palm and pine trees coexist in a snowy mountainous environment here. Lisipark is now glorious in holiday lights and with a light dusting of snow, and I highly recommend a visit to this charming destination.

To see my photography from November from Lisipark in all it's autumn foliage glory:

This is a pastel conversion of the above photograph.

Ryce and Santa. Ryce is sad Christmas has come this year since it is his favorite time in Second Life and  the beautiful winter holiday sims will be taken down soon.

Ryce is drowning his sorrows with a burger and a shake. He has ordered a burger for Benja who will be logging into Second Life soon.
