Horrific Destinations For Halloween-: The Twisted Vision of St.Mary of Bethlehem Asylum

Bloody Asylum Interior Scene

Twisted insane asylums are favorite Second Life Halloween destinations. Imagine sadistic doctors giving the slightly neurotic full lobotomies with bloody meat cleavers-- just the perfect settings for Halloween nightmares. I was particularly horrified at the  St. Mary of Bethlehem Asylum, which is as gruesome and appalling as the name would suggest. I thought the huge rats feasting on human limbs nauseating and repulsive, and loved it.  I enthusiastically recommend the asylum to anyone who loves this genre.

The Arrival Area
You may also visit a haunted house full of floating ghosts and scenes from a Haunted House that are reminiscent of the classic Jack Nicholson 1980 horror flick, The Shining. Make sure to keep your sounds up in your inworld sound mixer as you visit; I found the curdles and screens frightening here.

To visit. move to the ground level by entering the cemetery in the arrival skybox.

All photography was taken with Windlight Sky Setting "TOR" Dusk Fairytale Glow, which is a favorite setting of moon for photography taken in the Halloween season.

Check back tomorrow for another post.
