Great Second Life Destinations: Remembering World Trade Center First Responders at The Tribute to Fallen Firefighters

The Aero Pined Fire and Rescue and Producer Cindy Bolero have built a unique and evocative testimonial to the 414 emergency workers, including 341 firefighters, who gave their lives as first responders 13 years ago during the attack on the World Trade Center in New York. You can pick up a firefighter suit and walk the stairs of the Second Life World Trade Center; many firefighters will be doing similar activities today as part of  9/11 Stairclimbs in memory of the fallen. The Tribute to Fallen Firefighters is has multimedia displays and tells the story of how first responder heroes gave their lives there day.

This unique and special event is hosted by Aero Pines Park Fire & Rescue who are real life active, retired and aspiring firefighters who train and mentor in Second Life every day.
