Great Second Life Destinations: The Mountain Lodge at Kinkaku-ji Gardens

Kinkaku-ji Gardens is a welcome addition to the large number of excellent Japanese-themed sims in Second Life. The center of the gardens is the Kinkakuji, which literally means the Temple of the Golden Pavilion, one of the most celebrated Zen Buddhist Temple in Kyoto Japan.

The present pavilion structure dates from 1955, when it was rebuilt after an arson attack. My current review today is of the snow-bound mountain lodge in a corner of the sim where you can take a warm relaxing soak in the communal tub and relax your stress away.

The lush gardens and structures here are gorgeous; the entire layout is one of the best designs in Second Life. It is a romantic destination with dance balls and couple animations at many turns. I highly recommend a visit.
