Julia Steger, one of my neighbors in Palm Beach County Florida just posted this photograph of a tornado that was headed in our direction. This photograph was taken about 1000 feet from my real life house -- under 1/4 mile away.
The sirens went off and the sky turned a dark grey. It is a very frightening experience. Since we do not have anything like basements here, we were not sure where to go. However, the tornado has dissipated and the sirens have stopped.
