Kinkaku-ji Gardens is a welcome addition to the large number of excellent Japanese-themed sims in Second Life. The center of the gardens is the Kinkakuji, which literally means the Temple of the Golden Pavilion, one of the most celebrated Zen Buddhist Temple in Kyoto Japan. The present pavilion structure dates from 1955, when it was rebuilt after an arson attack.
The lush gardens and structures here are gorgeous; the entire layout is one of the best designs in Second Life. It is a romantic destination with dance balls and couple animations at many turns. I highly recommend a visit.
