We want to wish a very Happy Hanukkah to all our friends and readers. The Jewish Festival of Lights begins at Sundown tonight and lasts for 8 days. A new light on the Menorah, or candelabra, is lit every night.
The date of Hanukkah is based on an old lunar calendar and can vary for an entire month; this is one of the earliest dates ever for the start of the holiday.
