Provence Coeur is part of the 11-sim Aquitaine Coeur region which I reviewed here yesterday. The builds and landscaping on this hilly sim, and the ones that immediately surround it are evocative of the Provence region in Southeastern France; the rugged coast of which is best known as the Cote de Azure or the French Riviera. The Structures of Tatiana’s Tea Room, which is actually a retailer of antique French furnishings and home accessories, and similar businesses take up a large part of the retail foot space of the region. However, the builds here are so well done, with great interiors, and a complete lack of obtrusive signage, that you hardly realize you are in a commercial area at all.
The sides of the buildings in Provence Coeur have canal walkways, inns, and working mills and are also worth a peak. Make sure to take the working horse and carriage ride that runs through several of the sims in this area.
