New Gaming computer Shopping Tip: Sears is having a Cyberpower Promotion

This is for readers in the United States.

Cyberpower is a highly rated manufacturer of semi-custom gaming computers.

Sears (yes, the department store people) is a distributor for them.  If you are in the market for a new gaming desktop check out their web site. They are having a promotion with free shipping and price reductions.

Here is a link you can use, but their web site appeared way to busy today for easy linking:

The advantages of buying a computer at Sears or Costco (in the United States) is the return policy. You usually can just drop a computer off at a physical location and return it for any reason for your money back.  This beats having to deal with 800 numbers from other retailers, or having to mail a computer back for any reason.

If you want to save even more money they sell Sears gift cards online at discounts at places like giftcards.com

Remember:

Get a gaming computer with an NVDIA card, not an ATI card for Second Life. They work much better.

Extend your one year warranty with a Square Trade Warranty -- they offer great service, and search online for an updated discount via electronic coupon-- they are always out there for up to 20% - 30% off.
