Julia Child, The Great Chef Who Brought French Cooking To Millions of Americans, Was Born 100 Years Ago Today

Julia Child, who brought decent cooking to millions of Americans with her pioneering television show "The French Chef", was born 100 years ago today.  She died in 1994.

Here she is cooking what is arguably her most famous recipe Boeuf Bourguignon, which I intend to cook today in honor of her centennial.  You can find the recipe here:

A real life secret fact about me -- I have been told by quite a few that I do a drop dead ringer imitation of her voice as she cooks this recipe, although I do not dress up as her when I mimic, despite the strong temptation to do so.

Bon Apetit!
