Great Second Life Destinations: Mont Saint-Michel, a World Heritage Site


Mont Saint-Michel and its bay s a world (UNESCO) national heritage site off the coast of France. The castle was originally a monastery but was converted to a prison during the French Revolution.  Its unique position on and island that is connected to the mainland by a one-kilometer long road make it one of the most recognizable sights in France outside the city of Paris.
