Blue Mars: The Virtualization of the Byodo - Inn Temple

IDIA Lab in Blue Mars, is an evolving showcase of historic simulations and virtual archeology projects from the Institute for Digital Intermedia Arts at Ball State University. Builds include the 1915 San Francisco World's Fair, World’s, Asian temples, an interactive art museum, and more.

One of the most attractive builds is The Byodo-In Temple, located on the island of O'ahu in Hawaii at the Valley of the Temples. The Byodo-In Temple is a replica of a 900-year-old Buddhist in Kyoto, Japan. The complex includes a Bell Tower, landscaping, and "spheres" which place your avatar in a three-dimensional photographic visualization.  Highly recommended to visit.
