I follow one political blog here -http://joemygod.blogspot.com/
By the way - if the author of this blog sees this, I don't see why you have to piss off many middle of the road people with the name of your blog who simply don't want to see one of the ten commandments broken. If you don't know what I am talking about best to forget about it.
I copy this from his blog. It seems that the very anti-gay and anti-Jewish Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas (I read their web site and they don' like Catholics much either) will be killing two birds with one stone and picketing a gay New York City Synagogue on Sunday. BTW if you happen to be in New York please make sure show up at the counter demonstration. I think signs that say "Avatars Pack Fudge for the Lord" and "Eddi Haskell Ministries says Westboro Baptist Members will Burn in Hell" would be appropriate.
But here is the gist- don't these subhumans realize that the Jewish Sabbath is Saturday and not Sunday? Their goal is to harass worshipers. Granted, the average Westboro church member probably has an IQ of under 90, snorts crystal meth for fun when they are not out torturing little animals after trying to have sex with their underage first cousins, but can the possible be this stupid? Maybe they had too many snake bites!
As you can tell I am in a mood today!
Westboro To Picket Gay NYC SynagogueWestboro Baptist Church claims that it will picket NYC gay synagogue Congregation Beth Simchat Torah this Sunday at its Bethune Street location. The synagogue responds:
CBST will be holding a non-violent prayer vigil and service during the time of their protest. We cannot allow this group to go unchallenged as they engage in hateful speech at our synagogue. The most powerful response to such hatred is our demonstration of what makes us strong and powerful in the face of bigotry. We will not engage in any confrontational action or shouting matches. They would love it if we were to lose our composure. We will present who we are in a strong and meaningful way.
If you have a tallit, please bring it. If you would like to make colorful signs, please consider using:
"We are all created in God's image"
"God loves all of us"
"God made me gay"
and similar messages
