Great Second Life Destinations: Ile Sainte Marie-les-Bains -- 1900 French Thermal Spa Island

Ile Sainte Marie-les-Bains is a new role-play destination which bills itself as a 1900's  Belle Epoque era  French thermal spa island. I was reminded of the french Riviera (Cote d'Azur) when I visited -- specifically of Cannes, a town in which I was lucky enough to spend a week in working at a conference for a former employer. Sunny beaches lined by cafes and chic stores and comfortable hotels from the Art Deco and Victorian eras. The spacious design, realistic architecture, and good landscaping make this destination a welcome addition to Second Life.

This is a role play destination, and visitors are asked to dress in character. Free clothing is handed out at the arrival area for both ladies and gents, so please grab some when you arrive.
