Great Second Life Destinations: The Trace Reopens And It Is Better Than Ever

When Kylie Jaxxon announced last autumn that her wonderful Trace, long a favorite destination for photographers and bloggers, was closing many reacted as if a favorite friend had left Second Life. The good news is that the Trace has returned, and it is better than ever. Magnificent sea vistas together with turquoise skies now focus on the beach and the water's edge.  Surfboards and campers abound, and the feeling is one of mid-coastal California (Pismo Beach comes to mind), or perhaps a Mid-Atlantic beach resort such as Ocean City, Maryland - someplace bright with summer light but a bit too chilly for the ubiquitous palm tees of my home state of Florida.

Fields of flowers embrace this charming island, with quaint touches such as beach cabins and a meteor shower than is visible in the evening light. I have several more posts planned for the Trace, and I need to thank the ever so good natured Kyle for bringing a Second Life favorite destination back to virtual life. I highly recommend you visit.
