Great Second Life Destinations: The Three Stages of Morpheus

Eddi relaxes in the Nature part of the exhibit.
Osferatus Roussel's Morpheus is a dreamlike vision of three realms. You arrive in the sky, set up high in the night sky with spinning comets and whirling lights. You then teleport to two realms- Nature and Darkness. Nature is a vision of a peasant's farmhouse with a very friendly cow you you can be photographed with. The
farmhouse has furniture which you can interact with.  You finally teleport to a strange Darkness realm, where you are invited to sit around a fire and drink (as I am doing below) or visit a very scary looking ogre who has already killed one of his visitors. A very cool destination, and highly recommended for a visit.

Great Second Life Destinations: RiTai East and RiTai Dreamland, The World of Artist Bryn Oh

The great Second Life sculptor and multimedia artist has two bordering sims for you to visit. The first,
RiTai Dreamland, is co-owned and built together with Tai (taishatai). I took the top 5 photographs at this location. The bordering sim RiTai East, is shown on the lower part of this arrticle.

RiTai Dreamland delights with flying objects such as a giant Blue Whale, sculptures such as the mermaid shown below, a gorgeous house which servers as a gallery, and an innovative club dance floor. The entire layout is set on a lush multilevel island with interesting twists and turns. I highly recommend a visit.

Second Life Photo of the Day: Portraits of BOIJAC

Great Second Life Destinations: The Island of Mousai

The Island of Mousai is a new live music venue. It is also a great place to explore; make sure to see the interiors of several of the buildings which are very well done and also equipped with very interesting pose balls for couples (the pool table seemed quite busy). I noticed many of these structures on other sims, such as the theater and the lighthouse -- but what makes Moussai so nice to visit is the placement of everything in a wooded forest setting, and the very relaxing venues off the main street such as the cafe above. The gothic house on the hill is haunted and has poltergeists serving tea to invisible guests. I like this venue and highly recommend it for a visit,

Great Second Life Destinations: The Enchanted Forests of Shara

The Forests of Shara are densely wooded and overgrown with shrubs and vines. A mysterious and empty Castle reigns over the area on a hill; one expects The Witched Witch of the West and her flying monkeys to appear at any minute at any minute. This destination is beautiful and mysterious and a must -see for anyone who likes mountains and castles and a peaceful place to visit. Highly recommended.

I used the Windlight Sky Setting "Dusk - Fairy Tale Glow" to get this light effect in the images.
