Great Second Life Destinations: Winter in Philomenaville

Philohemenaville is a vision of an American town in the 1900 - 1920 Edwardian period. It is now resplendent covered in first fresh blanket of Winter snow, and has begun to put out the decorations of the holiday season. This overall effect is one of charm and restraint, yielding a realism that is missing in so many overdone Second Life Holiday sims. The period antique shops and art galleries have no equal in Second Life, I show only a few of the well done period interiors that line the town streets. The whiteness of the falling snow on the bare hardwood branches here is particularly beautiful, and the beauty of nature in winter is in full effect here. I highly recommend a visit.
