Great Second Life Destinations: Frisland in Winter

Beautiful Frisland, a virtualization of a mythical island in the north Atlantic, has been a bloggers favorite ever since it opened earlier in 2014. Winter has arrived, after a green and lazy summer, and a autumn season with trees and foliage in resplendent colors of red, orange, and dark gold. The drifting snow and bare foliage reveals a shimmering light-filled snowscape that is a Second Life standout.

Note that I used the Windlight settings programmed for the parcel in the first six images, and some alternative settings in the lower six images here to show Frisland at dusk. I used an ultra photography setting to pick up dark shadows on white show.
