Great Second Life Destinations: Animated Holiday Lights at Tromso Norway - Christmas in the Arctic Circle

Individual Frame from GIF Above

The winter holidays are a great time to visit Jimmy Warbaum's pretty Tromso sim, which I have reviewed and photographed several times in the past. Tromso is Norway's northernmost city, and only one of two major urban canters north of the Arctic Circle. The skies of Tromso are controlled by Jimmy's realistic light settings, so make sure you have your skies set to local when you visit.

These animated GIF's of Tromso were made at the same time -- it started snowing, and I decided to take another set of photographs to compare the effects. Each GIF is  composed of about 16 frames in sequential order and were made using the gifmaker.me online service.  A single frame of the image is located below each animation.

Tromso has changed and been remodeled over the past year. To see how it looked at this time a year ago, and to see a guide to outstanding features on the sim, go to my 2013 blog post:
