Great Second Life Destinations: Majestic Late Autumn at The Sanctuary By the Sea

Autumn is ending in Second Life. The first snows have already fallen, and in the next three weeks, many regions will become encased in white sheets of snow and flamboyant in holiday lights. The Sanctuary of the Sea is a great place to see some final magnificent fall foliage in one of the best natural Mountain settings around.

The centerpiece of the Sanctuary is a very realistic and beautiful Catholic Church, which I found to be very serene and contemplative. This is not a destination to bring a romantic interest, but you could -- it is more a place to do what is counter-intuitive in virtual reality, take a slow break in time by admiring virtual nature and enjoying the peace it brings the soul. I highly recommend that you visit.
