The sun-drenched town of Sankanos is a very good virtualtization of a village on one of the small islands in the famous Cyclades island chain in the Aegean Sea.
The Cyclades comprise about 220 islands, the major ones being Ándros, Dēlos, Mēlos, Mýkonos, Náxos, and Santoríni. Sankanos has the cafes, small churches, galleries, clubs, beaches, and small hidden courtyards -- all whitewashed with sun-drenched white paint-- that one expects from this part of the world. Highly recommended for a visit.
