Great Second Life Destinations: Jasmine's Hollow and The Dirty Grind

The pretty mountain town of Jasmine's Hollow, and the Dirty Grind performance venue which is located on a ridge above the town, bills itself as the "first and only Adirondack Steampunk destination" in Second Life. The Adirondack Mountains, in case you have never heard of them, are located in upstate New York across from Vermont, and are known for very pretty mountain lake scenery, which this destination accurately depicts.

I was impressed with the amount of buildings, homes, scenery, and excellent Steampunk detailing on the sim, which seems very spacious for its size. I kept on checking to make sure that there were not two adjoining sims at this destination. The moving mechanical Steampunk inspired machinery is fascinating; I intend to come back to photography some animated GIFS at a later date.

Jasmine's Hollow is highly recommended for a visit. It is especially good for exploring and photography.
