Great Second Life Destiantions: St. John Parish, a Beatiful Rendition of the French Quarter in New Orleans.


Gabrielle Riel's St John's Parish bills itself as a "fictional New Orleans of the early 20th century.
Roleplay is encouraged but not required. I loved the used of textures and color which gives the builds a great amount of realism with economical prim usage. I especially liked the period interiors. I am looking forward to February 17, 2015- when the next Mardi Gras will occur and this town should be exploding with celebrants.

There is another realistic New Orleans build of the French Quarter, which St. Johns Parish most resembles called New Tolouse. It too uses realisci textures but has a different "feel" to it.You can see my review and more photography here:
