Great Second Life Destinations: The Other Side, A Strangely Compelling Francophone Destination

The Other Side is a francophone (french-speaking) destination. I call it "strangely compelling" since so much of it reminded me of Gary Larson's "The Far Side" comic strip, which is still very well known despite not being published since 1995.  As examples, you can find a blown-up airplane with dead bodies strewn around right next to a zoo that keeps far too many voracious wild tigers together for comfort. The very strange band in front of a Chinese Pavilion struck me as also being quite odd. Although this sim is very crowded with builds and artifacts, and quite busy with traffic, it sill is recommended as a destination just because it has so many interesting -- and beautiful-- places to visit.
