Great Second Life Destinations: Frisland, A Mysterious North Atlantic Island Reminiscent of Denmark

Frisland is a new project by Charlie Namiboo, Anna Barzane and Frislanda Ferraris which opened to the public on March 31, 2014.  It is already a bloggers favorite (see the partial list of blogger coverage below). The project was inspired by the phantom island of Frisland, which never actually existed,  that appeared on virtually all of the maps of the North Atlantic from the 1560s through the 1660s.The dark brooding grey skies, cool green grass, and construction reminded me of Denmark in the late Springtime. I highly recommend that you visit.

All photographs were taken with the recommended Windlight sky and water settings for the sim.
