Great Second Life Art Installations: The Petrovsky Flux Is Reportedly Closing If Additional Funding Is not Found

Petrovsky Flux by creators blotto Epsilon and Cutea Benelli (from New World Notes)

I just heard some bad news. A reliable source has told me that A Petrovsky Flux, built in 2010, and one of the greatest, and most recognized art installations of Second Life, may be closing unless additional funding is found. The Flux, created by blotto Epsilon and Cutea Benelli, is a magnificent, self-destroying Steampunk city.  It is being hosted by the Spencer Art Museum of the University of Kansas in the United States. It is in motion, take a look at the machinimas below to see.

You can visit it here. I do not have a closing date.
