Gorgeous Second Life Destinations: Miyagawacho Hanamachi, (Shrine River Flower Town) - a Virtualization of Kyoto

Miyagawacho Hanamachi, (Shrine River Flower Town) is very reminiscent of the jewel-like city of Kyoto in Japan, and according to many, its spiritual center. The small alleyways and streets, with towering pagoda temples in the background, make this one of the most authentic Japanese places in Second Life. The textures are particularly good. Every turn seems to reveal something, whether it be a zen rock garden, or a small bridge over a well landscaped creek, something that delights the eye and makes use of minimal space to perfection. Highly recommended for a visit.
