Celebrating France in Second Life Week: Montmartre, as visualized on Cupcake Sim

Montmartre is a neighborhood located on top of a hill overlooking Paris is one of the city’s most fabled and romantic spots. Montmartre, considered by many to still be a village in its own right, is famous for the white-domed Sacre Coeur (Sacred Heart) Basilica, , and magnificent views of the rest of Paris. You get neither here on Cupcake retail fashion sim. What you do get here are narrow and steep cobblestone-paved streets, with hidden gardens, stairways and courtyard enclaves that yield a very charming effect. It rains on one of the streets; the skies open up in a dark and brooding manner. The rain makes you want to head inside one of the cafes here to drink something to warm you from the cold and wet Paris night.
