Gorgeous Second Life Destinations: The Reconstruction of Edo Castle in Tokyo

The reconstruction of Edo Castle is a gorgeous Second Life destination, and one of the best Japanese builds in Second Life. Much of the original palace, first built in 1457 in what is now Tokyo, was destroyed in a fire in 1873, with the rest destroyed with the destruction of Tokyo in 1944 and 45. Although some of Edo Castle has been reconstructed on what are now the grounds of the Tokyo Imperial Palace, much what is shown on the sim does not exist today.  The buildings, plantings, temple structures, and other structural details make this a must-see destination in Second Life. Highly recommended.
